The location is fabulous, looking over the gorge. The chalets are lovely, great bathroom facilities. Food is very good.

With mountain views, Crags Country Lodge is located in The Crags and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Superb overall experience. Great location (stunning mountain views), freshly decorated property, very well managed by a dedicated couple (top chef, top sommelier), great staff. Just perfect.

With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Amazing experience from start to finish! Geoff looked after us. Being so close to the elephants at night was amazing in the boma lounge. The rooms were super comfortable, and the morning walk with the elephants was on another level!

The lodge offers a barbecue. Wow what a gem of a place: each self contained room has a kitchen, so self-catering is an option, or dinner at a very good restaurant. The hotel is on a beautiful property; the attention to detail is evident everywhere. The hotel is personal - staff are attentive and go the extra mile - and we loved how it’s decorated. We will definitely be back. One thing to note is that it is on an Island, so you can only get there by ferry.

A balcony with mountain views is offered in all units. I had a fantastic stay at Big Tree House Lodge. The views over Knysna were absolutely stunning, and the place felt peaceful and private. The unit was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Knysna!

Set in a forest and nestled among the trees, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek offers self-catering accommodation in wooden cabins, just toff the N2 national road and 15 km away from Plettenberg Bay.

The units are equipped with kitchen facilities, fireplace and seating area. Some of the bathrooms are fitted with a mosaic shower. Barbecue facilities are available. A lovely house in the trees, with a view. Quiet, cosy, stylish and comfortable. Great veranda to sit out on, and eat or read. Very convenient for the beautiful Garden Route. We wish we could have stayed longer. All the houses on the property are well separated from each other and not overlooked.

Location, location, what a spot! If you are looking to be away from the city, on the water and having access to a restaurant on site, this is the place to go. There are several other restaurants near by but will need to drive. Service is top notch, they have though of every details.
