Location was amazing, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. All the extra options (breakfast game drive, pizza box etc.) are also great. Would 100% recommend this to everyone. Whole proces of very easy, from checkin to checkout. Also QR codes all over the place with instructional videos how to make a fire for the hottub etc. Also can greatly recommend the breakfast game drive. The owner drives you past his interesting family of animals, after which there will be a abundant breakfast waiting for you.

The location of this place is unreal. We had a lovely stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would visit the lodge again.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen.

We loved our stay at the Garden Route Game Lodge so so much - they included so many little extras that made the trip so incredible. We loved our game drives, and the guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. We really appreciated the extra effort in them providing snacks for the kids and hot water bottles for the cold morning drive. The food was incredible. We are already planning when we will be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Stanley Island, from Jack's pleasant welcome to the wonderful room and view over the grazing zebras. Everything was perfect, this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

The staff were exceptional (thank you, Dee and Michelle), and the rooms were top-class, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen. Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!
