The attention to detail throughout the property was impressive and made a noticeable difference in our experience. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches, everything was designed with comfort and warmth in mind. The cottage was incredibly inviting and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. A special thanks to Sophia who is a fantastic host who truly goes the extra mile to ensure her guests feel welcomed and well-cared for. We truly enjoyed our time there and are already looking forward to returning.

The villa and luxury tent were great to stay in and we all slept well! We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

The atmosphere was sublime - an oasis in a desert environment. The room had everything that one could think of and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by Mark and Marjerie, they are incredible hosts. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We even got to see girafs and antelopes while having our morning coffe in the back yard. But the real highlight was the food! They oragized a barii for us, and tought of every detail so that we could taste the most tradicional dishes in the área. Every meal was a delicious treat. We can't wait to return and experience this again!

Unbeatable views and delicious food. Ingrid and the other ladies who work there were lovely and the chalet was comfy and had everything we needed, it was really nicely decorated too. It felt very quiet and private. Good location for Addo elephant park and other private game reserves.

The last 3,5km from the entrance gate to the lodge are pretty adventurous, but once you are there, you will enjoy stunning views of the dam and green hills. We enjoyed the tranquility - a perfect place, if you just want to relax. You can order food, which they bring to your place. But we decided for self catering, as the kitchen is fully equipped (from stove to microwave and fridge). WiFi was good and we loved the terrace for the views! Driving to the gate in the mornings we saw some antilopes, many warthogs and a herd of buffalos.

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. The staff was wonderful. From the check-in experience to the restaurant, everyone was really helpful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was great. We loved the game drive on the property.
