The setting is peaceful and beautiful, right on the Sundays River, with nature all around — birds, monkeys and a real sense of calm. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and thoughtfully set up for self-catering, with lovely little touches that made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Being so close to Addo Elephant National Park made it an ideal base for game drives, while still feeling private and tucked away. The eco-friendly, semi off-grid setup worked perfectly and meant no disruption from load-shedding. Overall, a genuinely special place — tranquil, well-run and excellent value. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

Ingrid and the other ladies who work there were lovely and the chalet was comfy and had everything we needed, it was really nicely decorated too. It felt very quiet and private. Good location for Addo elephant park and other private game reserves.

The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Fantastic feeling of being in the bush as we arrived! meals were divine, very hospitable staff, tented suites were stunning air con a bonus, Shane and Hannah and Mike were very friendly knowledgeable easy to chat to, absolutely loved our experience there
