We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!

Such a lovely gem on a beautiful farm. The owners are such good people. We had car trouble on the way there and Jenny didn't hesitate to offer us assistance in driving us 40mins to the nearest car hire company. They really did go above and beyond to make us comfortable, even through such a stressful event. The farm and units are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. I would definitely go back anytime.

The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.
