The villa and luxury tent were great to stay in and we all slept well! We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

The two hosts made us feel like old family members from far away from the first moment on. The tents are wonderful and sitting on the terrace watching the wild giraffes and other wildlife was hands down under the top 5 travel experiences we experienced in our lifes. I highly recommend going there also with children and to show them the wildlife of SA with a huge variety of animals. The Braai in the evening is another highlight featuring the best products like organic butter or meat. Do yourself a favor and don’t rush it. We stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer as you really experience the pleasure of a spot where time stands still. Thank you for having us. We will for sure come back ❤️

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. The staff was wonderful. From the check-in experience to the restaurant, everyone was really helpful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was great. We loved the game drive on the property.

Located on a private concession within the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, River Bend Lodge offers luxury accommodation, spa facilities and private game drives. Free WiFi is available. The grounds were really beautiful with cottages surrounding artfully landscaped grounds that were filled with birdsong. The chef was truly excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Our park ranger, Paul MacKenzie, was outstanding. He knew the wildlife really well and had many tales from his interesting life. Rafa, one of the elephants blessed us with his presence at the gate on the day of our game drive and were fortunate to spend a lot of time with one of the lions. The Park concession was very good because it gave us long views. In contrast, during our solo drive from the bottom of Addo to the top, there was large bush obscuring views. I found the staff at River Bend to be really friendly and enjoyed my many conversations with them, particularly time spent talking to Jenna. I also enjoyed talking to Gladys, who worked in the kitchen. She and I share an interest in sewing with Shweshwe. We highly recommend River Bend. It is truly a 5 star experience.

We had a great stay at Chrislin African Lodge. The stuff is very nice and we even got cake, cookies and siniging for my husbands birthday. And everybody was so nice with our kids. They even had a play area in the restaurant, and the playground on grass was loved, as well as the wonderful pool. The hut was very spacious and perfect for our family. To Addo Elefant Park it‘s a 15 min. drive. What we also loved… there‘s a supermarket not far away. We would definetely come again!

Situated on a secluded eco-reserve, Hitgeheim Country Lodge is an owner-managed lodge offering daily open safari vehicle drives into the Addo Elephant National Park where guests may experience viewing... Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Outstanding service. Beautiful views. Spotless and tasteful. Excellent in every way. Wish we had booked for longer. Our car was even washed before we left.
