Cecilia and Rickhard were amazing hosts with great attention to detail. The cabins are cosy, clean, and surrounded by incredible nature. We didn't have time to use the sauna this time, but hopefully, we'll return one day.

There is a terrace and a barbecue at this property and guests can go hiking and skiing nearby. Spectacular views and the fact the cabin is located near the national park, where you can see and encounter wild animals. During our stay, we encountered reminders on 3 different occasions, but foxes were also common.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. The breakfast was wonderful - one of the best we have had, so was the location and the little huts we stayed at. We loved spotting old and injured reindeer on our way in. There was a communal kitchen for everyone to use, which went well beyond my expectations + communal sauna and jacuzzi which we had a chance to enjoy. Combined with polar days, it was perfect.

The lodge features a barbecue. The forest and the lake was breathtaking. I will be returning. I had a great time riding across the frozen lake on a snowmobile and It was very quiet and peaceful. I had a very nice walk to the small Town of Jukkasjävi, to get some food and drink and met some locals. My Host was very helpful with communications, phones, text, email etc and took me back to the airport the following morning. The room was very warm and comfortable, Shower etc, place to cook food with all the tools etc. very well equipped.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. What a beautiful cabin! It has everything you need in an excellent location. My soul was able to rest in this beautiful place.
