You'll be greeted by the friendly owner of the place and his two beautiful dogs (super friendly, love to be petted) who will even follow you around the trails! Wonderful place, amazing experience. This accommodation is just wonderful. I could not be more satisfied. The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

We enjoyed staying at this nice cottage in a quiet tiny village. The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

The owners, Oana and Vlad are welcoming people, doing everything with passion and dedication. I enjoyed spending time with them and exploring the property and the village. Great find and would love to come back doar a longer stay.

After a long travel from Bulgaria we reached the place. The host is really welcoming and a nice person to talk with.The house is really clean and cozy and the bed is really comfortable. The place is quiet, the air is fresh and the view is stunning. Our visit there is one if our most calm and relaxing experiences we ever had.
