I already paid one of the guides to take photos. That meant that I could enjoy the climb and the stay without thinking of taking pictures. It is definitely worth it. The meals were outstanding and there were plenty. The pod is a ‘once in a lifetime’ kind of experience. And even though it Can be cold (I visited during the Winter in Peru) take your time and go to the roof of the pod and look at the stars. Also, have in mind that the facilities are primitive but works Well (you are hanging several hundred meters over the Ground) The guides were fantastic. Their english is good, and you felt very safe with Them.

The balcony has a great view over the Pisac ruins. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and comfortable, which meant for a relaxing stay. It's a shame we could only stay one night! Though it is located a little out of the main centre of Pisac, I would say this is a good thing - there are collectivos and taxis which can take you down into the town and back.

Located 21 km from Bus Station, Casafranca provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The location, and property itself are stunning. The views from the large windows are to the mountains and the interior is finished to a modern and very high standard. Very tranquil all in all. Although the property is located out of town, Vanesa was happy to give us a lift when required. Breakfast was to an excellent standard providing a selection of good food which set us up for the day.

Our lodge is within walking distance of the traditional village of Urquillos, a tiny settlement in which countless traditions are kept alive year-round by a lively and proud local community.

The 50 rooms have views of the cornfields and mountains. They were covered in wood and have cozy touches in the decoration, which transform them into a unique place to disconnect and enjoy the destination. Beautiful property and great staff. We didn’t like much the food choices except at breakfast.
