The lodge offers an American or vegetarian breakfast. The owners of kukama lodge were so accomadating. They helped with anything we asked or offered when we hadn’t even. The paintings Pablo has done around the place are stunning and they offer so much knowledge and stories about their kukama people. The place is a lovely rustic oasis to relax in. The locals around were also very lovely and cooked delicious food. Highly recommend this place, even if it a little far from Iquitos.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We loved this hotel! 100% our very favourite accommodation in 6 weeks in Peru! The family operating this hotel is some of the kindest people we met and they will help you with anything you need :) Their property is huge and they show you around and explain to you everything you need and want to know! I was sick for 2 days, and they even made me a special herbal tea from an Amazonian plant that helped me a lot. Even the food - amazing!! All the meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and made with a lot of local and seasonal plants from their 14-hectare land. On our walk, we even went to pick fruits with them, which we could try 5 minutes later! This was truly an amazing experience, and this hotel alone was worth the commute to Iquitos.

Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the property. The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

It is a rustic hostel that offers a variety of activities in the river and jungle. Jacamar Lodge Expeditions's bungalows are built with rustic materials and have private bathrooms, a terrace overlooking the river, mosquito nets and kerosene lamps. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

A buffet breakfast is available at the lodge. Daniel was the best guide and very entertaining. The location and event planning was superb and exciting

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. It offers full board and a range of river and jungle excursions. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Continental and à la carte breakfast options are available every morning at the lodge. Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Iquitos is 5 km from Amak Iquitos Ecolodge, while Santa Teresa is 2.6 km away. The nearest airport is Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta International, 13 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. I had an excellent stay at Amak - from the warm and helpful staff to the 3 course meals, it definitely exceeded my expectations for the very fair price. The schedule was well thought-out with interesting activities around the area and Carlos was an exceptional local guide. I felt very well taken care of.
