Santa Clara is 45 km from the lodge. We stayed in a basic room at Los Aramos for one night and we only have the nicest things to say about this hotel. The location is excellent - the Butterfly haven, shops, restaurants, and bus stops are all within a ten minute walk. The hotel's landscaping and garden is so beautiful, it is worthy of being a designated attraction in the valley. The property owner/manager Elida is simply a wonderful person. It was our first time visiting Anton valley and messaged her with questions, including requesting some information on viewpoints that we can reach without hiking. She was extremely helpful, and always prompt and thorough in her replies. We simply loved our two days in Anton valley and Los Aramos.
