We were given a BBQ set for our cooking in front of the unit, which was just great! The surroundings have a mature and immaculate garden. Claire and Ralph were welcoming and helpful.
I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here at Whangamata.

New ZealandThe bed and daybed were very comfortable. Loved the added touch of a continental breakfast being supplied. We chose this place for the scenery because there was a walk on the doorstep, it didn't disappoint. The walk by the river and through the trees is lovely it's about a 2k round trip. You can cool off in the river. We found 2 really clear shallow spots. Mary is a lovely host, and we actually could have spent the day chatting to her. We will definitely be back.

IndiaSimply superb !! From start to finish this hotel / b&b was the highlight of our visit to NZ. A beautiful home with stunning views of the lake in Lake Taupo. The hosts are most gracious. The room was beautiful. Extremely large with a dressing area, balcony with a gorgeous view, jacuzzi bath tub and shower. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented.

I like the little personal touches around the lodge like the spa bath, homemade bread and self harvested honey for breakfast. we also definitely enjoyed the adventurous rainforest trails and swimming holes around the lodge. It was a world away from the busy city life. A very therapeutic place for retreat.

Such a beautiful location .. the room was warm, clean, quiet and the bed was amazing. The lodges restaurant food was delicious and the Staff made you feel welcome and very attentive.

What a stunning lodge in a really lovely, peaceful location. The manager was lovely, very friendly and had left the keys out for us for when we turned up. Breakfast things were provided for us. The beds were really comfortable and everything was clean and well put together. Facilities were great and the views and location were just stunning.

The Lodge is absolutely lovely, incredibly comfortable beds, spacious rooms, wonderful ensuite wiht bath tub that has views, grounds are beautiful. the entire team is freindly, helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. It's an elegant and refined choice with a personal touch thats not found in large hotels. The breakfast was perfect, fresh, quality, beautifully cooked, stunningly presented and the coffee is also great. The location is lovely, quiet, relaxing and picture perfect.

Hahei is a wonder, and Tatahi Lodge Beach Resort is the perfect place to stay during your time there. The staff is accessible and kind—going above and beyond to make your stay pleasant! The room “comes with” a shovel for Hot Water Beach, and beach towels. The studio has a lovely window sitting area, private backyard space, incredibly comfortable bed, and (random) a really neat wooden counter top. Everything was clean and well cared for. I extended my stay, I enjoyed it so much!

The lodge was in a beautiful area up a hill so it had lovely views of the surrounding areas - sea and luscious green hills. Christine was very warm and welcoming and I had a very comfortable stay. My room was lovely, comfy and had all of the facilities I needed. I'd highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Not only the place was beautiful, but the owner was so kind and helpful! The tui lodge is definitely one of the best places we have stayed so far. Simple, clean, quiet, affordable. Although the place has quite a few rooms, it never felt busy. You have 2 kitchens and several toilets around the area. It never gave me the "hostel impresion".
Frances has a beautiful dog too! Her name is Nala, we love heeer!
During a rainy day she also gave us some recommendations to hand around and to eat.. great!!!!

Stunning property situated on the river that runs from Lake Taupo to the Huka Falls. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and provides seating and dining areas inside and outside. The rooms are equally wonderfully, each having access to a Porch, rolling grass and the river view.
