The rooms were recently renovated and very nice. Brian & Rosemary were very helpful with suggestions on places to see on our outings.

I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. The views were sensational and the apartment was fabulous! We were extremely lucky to get fresh baked bread the first morning and the second morning we got home made crossaints. Both mornings we had fresh fruit, yoghurt and condiments. Such an awesome place to end our Honeymoon and 3.5 week trip around New Zealand.

The lodge offers a hot tub. The view was amazing. We sat in bed in the morning drinking coffee and watching the sun rise above the mist. The spa pool is in a covered area, where you can look at the view. Beds were soft, just how we like them! Very quiet area. 😉

We enjoyed the pool each afternoon, following a day of exploring, and watched the moon rise each evening from the expansive deck. Breakfasts were delicious and prepared us for a day of activity. We appreciated every recommendation provided by Martin and Joelson. They definitely set the bar for the rest of our time in New Zealand. If you have the chance to stay here, we couldn’t recommend it more highly!
