A garden is featured. Nice and cozy place. The host is absolutely excellent! It is equipped with laundry, which is really convenient. It could arrange a shuttle bus from hotel to Whakapapa ski field. Pretty chill place. Definitely wanna come back next time.

Bernie and Marie were absolutely delightful hosts and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The property is conveniently located near to the various activities in the area, which made travelling to and from a breeze! Breakfast was also amazing, and with sheep and alpaca at the property as well, I can’t recommend this stay more!

A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available. Great well equipped 2 bedroom apartment. Parking outside our front door was convenient. The bedrooms are a couple of steps down from mainfloor, wasnt a problem for us. Great food at Schnapps down the street, reasonable prices, large portions and very good.

The Lodge is well situated to hike in Tongariro National Park. We also really enjoyed the fact that the kitchen was well equipped! We wouldn’t hesitate going back!
