The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and adventurous stay in the Arctic wilderness. The snow gear provided was of excellent quality, keeping us warm and allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The sauna was a cozy haven, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. We wholeheartedly recommend this camping experience to anyone seeking adventure, relaxation, and a chance to witness some of the most spectacular sights on Earth. Don’t miss it!

With mountain views, Aurora Fjord Cabins is set in Lyngseidet and has free WiFi.

All units come with a terrace with sea views, a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Everything is clean and very beautiful, nothing lacking in the cabin. Don’t want to leave! Saw auroras multiple nights right from the cabin, saw dolphins swimming by, saw an eagle fly by twice. Town is very convenient and close enough. Distillery is beautiful - definitely have the whisky sour! - and the people are very helpful and friendly. I’d love to come back.

With sea views, Norwegian Wild is situated in Vangsvik and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything!! The view in front of the hotel is magnificent! Room is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is clean and water pressure is good. Dog sledding is wonderful experience! High recommend.

Cabin by the river features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Storslett.

All units come with a terrace with sea views, a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. The cabin was in a lovely location next to the charming little town Storslett. The cabin is quite big and cozy. It was amazing to be so close to the river and enjoy barbecuing and sauna with a great view on the river and mountains.

It was a combination of my favorite parts of hotels and hostels - lovely, private room with a view, with shared common areas and a kitchen to cook in. They had rental gear for outdoor activities as well!

Hiking can be enjoyed nearby. Nice place in beautiful nature and in its own peace. Comfortable, cosy rooms and a friendly welcome. Everything worked and we left happy with a will to visit again.

Rustic place serves great as base camp for relaxing or (outdoor) activities.
