With sea views, Norwegian Wild is situated in Vangsvik and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Hanna was extremely easy to communicate with. The property was peaceful and absolutely beautiful being waterfront. Our accommodations were very comfortable and the design was spectacular. We particularly loved the big windows to enjoy the view. We enjoyed the fish soup, reindeer pizza and Oreo cake for dinner, everything was delicious. Hanna also prepped us sandwiches for take away since we were leaving early morning and would not have been able to enjoy the breakfast.

After a day of hiking, skiing or fishing, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. The view and the proximity to the Segla trailhead were amazing. If you want to hike to Segla or its neighbouring mountains, this is a great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very organised in general. The beds were comfy and warm. The shared rooms were furnished very nicely and invited to rest after a strenuous hike. We didn't meet the hosts in person, but they were very responsive to messages and helpful for any questions we had.

We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!

Such a relaxing and peaceful place off the beaten track. Good size for a couple or a family either 2 children. The kitchen is very well equipped. No restaurants and shops close by, but this isn’t a problem if you come prepared. Many nice hiking trails in the area and the ferry to Harstad just 5 min away.
