Would love to have stayed more than one night, but was cost prohibitive.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This place was wonderful and a great place to start off our Namibia trip. It is on a private reserve and there is a small waterhole right by the restaurant so animals can be seen up-close. The pet zebra that roams close to the lodge is great especially if you have never seen a zebra before! The room itself was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom, with every comfort in it (including very nice soaps and lotions). What was really memorable was the scent of the roof's grass all throughout the room - I loved it! Food was also good. Note that in the wet season you need a 4x4 to reach it.

I could have stayed a lifetime there.

Great place - The room was comfortable and well-designed. Great view from the bed. The outdoor views so beautiful. We spent an hour by the pool, and the entire setting to view the sunset and sunrise were just great. Dinner was nice - nice choice and every dish was tasty and prepared with care. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

From the moment he picked us up, he made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. He thought about our itinerary of activities, our meals, accommodates changes in our schedule and even liaised with the kitchen on providing lunch bags for our journey back. Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve in general is an experience of a lifetime. The nature, the values of Wolwedans to the food, the night sky, the knowledge of each staff member. We even received a sweet letter and sparkling wine as it was our honeymoon. This place is a 10/10

The staff were exceptional — caring, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could feel that they truly wanted to make every moment perfect, and they did. Their warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel completely at home. The trip to the dunes was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

It has warm and cosy atmosphere. The food was so delicious, the bar was a meeting point with people living there. The staff at dinner did some dancing and singing and it was so touching and genuine. They had a great organization that allows you to leave early for the daily activities. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
