Super comfy beds, lovely attached bathrooms Getting there was not challenging as long as you don’t follow google maps. Contact Onjamba and they will email a map telling you where to exit the C35. Staff and food were beyond fabulous. Tents were pretty hot as there isn’t AC and it was toasty (high 30s/low 40s) when we were there. Fans are provided in the room though. The elephant drive was fun but we only found one lone bull. The little pool was amazing for hours on the hot afternoon after the drive.

For those of us who love a dry landscape this Lodge not only provided exceptional service but a building that blended with the landscape and facilities that allowed you to appreciate the landscape. We loved everything about our stay here… the staff were attentive as well as being warm and friendly, the attention to detail in the rooms was outstanding (loved the shower with a view), and the atmosphere created by the interior design reflected Namibia. In short “We loved it”!

Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. Unique accommodation in the tent but with the comfort of a hotel. Have private bathroom connected to each tent. Delicious dinner with different options of meat right from the grill. Can eat as much as you want.

Located in Damaraland, Huab Lodge & BushSPA is surrounded by lush vegetation. It features a swimming pool and a natural thermal spring. It has a bar and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Each bungalow at the Huab Lodge features a private veranda overlooking the area and hills. They all have a private bathroom with twin basins and views from the shower. All of them have thatched roofs and typical African decoration. Great remote location! The owner offers a lot of excursions to explore the area.

Located 25 km from Khorixas, Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge offers accommodation set in a semi-circle of interlinking pathways with a swimming pool at the centre.

Each room at Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge has a private garden, air conditioning, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Cottages are separate in their own little yards. Large room. The yards grow vegetables which the lodge uses for the meals. Staff are very good. Delicious buffet with game meat and a variety of vegetables. Maria, the server, was very good. Breakfast buffet is also good with a nice variety including hot food.

Petrified Forest Khorixas is 30 km from the lodge. We spent two fantastic days in this mountain camp, surrounded by peaceful nature. A special thanks goes out to the chef Marysne who surprised us with delicious dinners out of nowhere. They have just taken over this place and we were last minute guests, nevertheless she could manage to put together amazing meals. Mongetti, our host, new in his role did a great job to welcome and look after us. The location is exceptional, nearby the touristic attractions, you need a car, organ pipes, burned mountains, Twyfelfontein site and elephant safari (strongly recommended, much less busy than etosha). At the back of the camp, on the top of the hill you can see a stunning sunset. I would definitely come back.
