I loved my stay at the Gondwana Canyon Village, the views around the lodge were beautiful, the food was great, the hiking trails were fun, the staff was nice, and the sundowner tour was amazing! I would definitely stay again!

Ai-Ais National Park is 14 km from the lodge. We wish they had more vegetarian options… I think the breakfast and dinner options focus more on non vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bartender prepares the best drinks and the views are spectacular.

Located 8 metres from the canyon edge, the chalets at Fish River Lodge include a terrace, large windows and dry stone walls. They have a private bathroom with free toiletries. Beds can be placed outdoors for sleeping al fresco. Superb location with views of the canyon. Loved our stay and wished we could if stayed another night. The hot water bottle was a perfect touch to the very cold night.

Very interesting historical place (old railway station converted to hotel). Nice location- not too far from quiver tree forest. Good for sleepover before continuing to Luderitz or Fish river canyon. There is a fireplace in the dining area, so it was nice and warm. Very nice dinner and breakfest.
