Extremely helpful staff members - did our washing for us with a rapid turn around, moved our suitcases to our new room on the second night, helped us with transport to the national park etc. Clean rooms with efficient fan and comfortable beds. Free bottled water provided, with beautiful views of sunset from kitchen and terrace. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Everything was perfect – from our stunning sea-view room to the warm, welcoming staff who made us feel at home. Waking up to that turquoise water every morning was magical! The food was fresh and tasty, with lots of variety. We loved the island hopping and snorkeling – swimming with turtles and exploring vibrant reefs was unforgettable. Relaxing, beautiful, and full of adventures – we didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Tampat do Aman- Howard was so friendly and helpful, he showed us around and gave us recommendations what to do and where to eat( Inas café is really good). He cares about the local culture and environment and there is also a little museum about the people there( the Rungus) and their culture. We overall can really recommend staying there!

The 2 nights, 3 days I stayed here were some of the best days of my life! Absolutely incredible - we went for the nature and were not disappointed - we saw the Borneo Big 5 plus TONS more. Our guide Ryan was the best - his eagle eye and determination meant we were able to see all this. The staff were super friendly and catered for my vegan diet, accommodation is very basic but this is perfect for a few days off the grid, rooms were clean and comfy we even had a large Gecko for company :)

Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat features private cottages and dormitory beds in the middle of a rainforest. The hotel has a restaurant, free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in, feel like it is a must stay for every traveller. You stay in wooden lodges so be prepared to find a few critters around your room but mosquito nets are provided. Bathroom is semi-outside so has a great view onto the jungle but still feels private at the same time. staff were absolutely fantastic, very very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and cheap. Free shuttle service into sepilok.

With garden views, Sutera Sanctuary Lodges At Poring Hot Springs is set in Ranau and has a restaurant, room service, bar and garden. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

What an amazing place start to finish. Ignore the bad reviews. We stayed for one night and two days and would have happily stayed more! The staff everyone of them were outstanding happy and very friendly! They made our stay. There is so much to do here, it's not just about the springs. We loved the orchid garden butterfly farm waterfalls garden and the pool too!! Canopy was scary but good. Room was perfect to! Such a great relaxing stay. Restaurant great and for the location reasonably priced, if your tight on budget there are street food style restaurants to eat outside. But definitely book a night or two on your travels. Your Staff are a credit to you!! Rafflesia flowers are available to view locally to at the moment. Thanks!
