Very friendly and helpful host. He organized two full day safaris for us - one in Block 5&6 and one in Block 1 of the Yala national park. They were both amazing and we could (besides elephants, monkeys, crocodiles,...) observe 4 leopards and even a mother with her cub! 😍 The huge tent with the veranda was just perfect. We could even observe several animals like peacocks and mungos directly from there. One evening the host's mum spontaneously cooked for us and we even got the dinner served to our veranda. Another evening he took us by car to a restaurant. So overall it was a great experience and I can only recommend this place.

Some of the best value stays we got in Sri Lanka. Amazing tents with everything you might need, nice bed, AC, hot and cold water… really nice staff help us organise everything and even packed our breakfast away because I didn’t had time to have it there.

We stayed in the Green Nest Yala for one night, but we felt like at home, everything thanks to Athula! He was the kindest and most cheerful person we have met in Sri Lanka, always ready to helped us, made for us delicious dinner and breakfast and even ordered us a tuk tuk (pick me and uber failed) which took as to the Tissamaharama Bus Stand. The stay at the hotel was amazing and we would definitely come back there!!! 😍

Remote location in the middle of the jungle, rooms are separate little houses linked by forest paths. Loved being surrounded by all the nature, vegetarian dinner was delicious.

Right from the time, we booked the room , we got prompt response each time. The service and facilities were excellent. We had a relaxing time there. The food was excellent. The safari they arranged to block 5 and 6 was also very good.We saw many animals there including leopard.Highly recommended

First Appu, he and his family will take care of you, I had read reviews about his food, don't pay attention... it is better than his reviews, he is the best cook in Sri Lanka, his spicy eggplants are excellent! And all his food! Thank you for taking care of us. Thanks also to the Safari driver, he made our dream of seeing Leopards come true, I recommend doing the Safari with the Hotel service, his driver is excellent! (sorry, I don't remember the name). Finally, Navin, the owner of the hotel, thank you for taking care of every detail! Our stay has been excellent! You have a great Hotel and your team is excellent!

We loved everything about our stay at Koragaha Lodge. Our experience was seamless from the minute we arrived to our check out. The staff arranged everything on the safari days with packed breakfast & lunch, and were always accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and set amongst a beautiful landscape. We highly recommend this place for a stay in Yala

Wave and real wild life with beautiful bitch along with stone rock.

We wanted to stay close to the park with the feeling of being inside it and being close to nature and the animals, and Yala Jungle Haven delivered on all fronts! You’re in the middle of nature, so don’t be spooked when a salamander or lizard walks around the room and leaves some droppings or tiny frogs enter and jump around. They are harmless and make it the full experience. There’s also a small crocodile in the pond next to the room and in the morning we had a water buffalo in it and a peacock on top of the tree. You won’t have aircon or hot water as there’s only one generator but there’s a fan and a mosquito net if you need to open the windows and it’s hot enough to enjoy the colder shower. The owners, Tushara and his parents, are amazing and do everything they can to make you feel at home. The food is freshly prepared and delicious, definitely the bbq chicken (a bit pricey compared to other areas but makes sense as shops are not close and everything is made from scratch). You eat dinner on the rock where you can look at the stars by the fire and a bit higher up you can go watch the sunrise/sunset. Sometimes an animal that can walk under the fence for elephants (monkeys, wild boar, leopard, …) walks by. We saw the first two. Breakfast in the hut is also amazing as a giant squirrel joins you to ask for a banana. Tushara knows a lot about the environment and animals as he has been a guide for over 25 years, so you can ask him anything. We did the full day safari in Yala National Park with them which was also a great experience. We got to see 2 leopards, 40 elephants, 3 crocodiles, many antilopes, spotted deers, birds, water buffaloes, mongoose, monitor lizards, … Unfortunately Tushara couldn’t come with us because the generator broke and he had to stay to fix it, so his cousin came with us. Although he was a man of little (English) words, he made sure we saw a lot of animals and tried to explain what he could.

Is totally in eco environment, not crowded at all only one tree house, one standard room (2 single and 1 double bed) and one dorm room (6 single beds). All has mosquito nets
