The bedroom with a large bed was a blessing , air-conditioned room and nice big sliding doors overlooking the seating area on the patio and garden. The GeneralManager Mr. Praveen is very attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable and a pleasant well spoken person, which made sure that all his guests felt totally comfortable. A 5 star director. A very cosy peaceful place .

Situated in Kirinda, close to Nidangala Beach, Garnet Yala Beach features accommodation with garden, bike hire, a private beach area, a terrace and a restaurant. Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing and cycling. The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.

The lodge provides a barbecue. The room is quite spacious. It's the biggest room we've stayed in the whole Sri Lanka trip. The staff were very friendly. They helped us to prepare the other morning's breakfast package for the Safari tour. We left for the Safari at 5:30a, our breakfast had been there ready. It's at the end of a small village road, and there's a pond in front of the hotel. It's quiet.

The lodge offers an à la carte or Full English/Irish breakfast. Our favourite style of accommodation is always a little home in the middle of nature. This little villa was exactly what we like. The room is equipped with a fan and a mosquito net - our two most treasured 20th century appliances. (There’s also an ac, but we prefer natural ventilation.) Best of all, we opened both sets of windows to invite a cool evening breeze. Authentic SL restaurants are a short walk to the main road. Peacocks roam freely and their calls are a comfort in the crisp morning air. Prasad was always very attentive, and helped out whenever we needed something. He’s such a beautiful and kind host. And his mum made the best coconut roti! Thank you for your great hospitality - we loved everything about our stay with you!

A car rental service is available at Yala Leopard Lodge. Everything is very nicely decorated and clean. Easy to relax at the pool for an afternoon before or after your safari! Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a yummy Sri Lankan breakfast after coming back from our safari.
