Even before our stay, Janith and Manisha went above and beyond to make our trip to Sri Lanka enjoyable. The drive we had originally booked cancelled last minute, and they were able to quickly arrange transport for us from Colombo to the resort and even for the subsequent week of our trip. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, both the structures and the surrounding areas, which includes a path to a waterfall and gorgeous views of the rainforest. We ate each meal here and loved every single bite - the coconut sambal was some of the best in the world. For those with smaller stomachs, the portions are huge so it’s best to split a plate so as to avoid food waste. We originally booked the triple room with a view but when we saw the Superior Family Room, we immediately upgrades because it’s essentially a glass treehouse immersed in the jungle. We also booked a jungle tour through the resort and our guide Kumar took us on an incredible all day journey through a tea plantation to a rainforest, where we explored waterfalls and learned about the local flora. We are traveling through Sri Lanka for a few weeks and really this has been one of the highlights of our trip because of beautiful location, delicious food, the wonderful memories made on the jungle tour, and most importantly the compassion and kindness that were shown to us at every minute by Janith and Manisha. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Food was fresh and tasty. The lovely host Karina is very accommodating and can organise anything for you from transportation to tours. The river freshwater pool is very refreshing after a hike or trek in the forest.

(important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Rainforest Nature House位于代尼耶耶。住宿提供免费WiFi，内部提供私人停车位。 部分房间提供露台和/或山景或河景阳台。 经过一天的徒步或垂钓之后，客人可以在花园内或共用休息室放松身心。 科加拉机场距离住宿有89公里。 its right in nature, super close to the forest reserve. super cozy, beautiful and tranquil place. the family who owns the place was super friendly and accomodating - they stayed up late and even made us dinner when we arriverad at around 11 pm due to issues with our drive there. both breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good, and they even made it all vegan since i wrote in the booking message that i am vegan! we went on a nice hike in the forest reserve with a friend of the family who is a tour guide(he was very knowledgable) and one of the brothers offered to come with us to help with translation since we were a bit worried about language barriers. may be good to know that there is no hot water but we honestly did not mind at all since it was hot outside

The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.
