This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!

The property was really clean and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at this hotel was the best during our trip. We also enjoyed the pool with the beautiful scenery view of the mountains and hills.

From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcome at this beautiful estate, nestled in lush greenery and surrounded by spice, fruit, and vegetable plants. The owner and his team are lovely and try to accommodate you as well as possible. What makes this place even more special is its support for the local village community. You can enjoy delicious, authentic Sri Lankan meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A range of activities is offered, including village tours and scenic hikes through the beautiful surrounding nature. I’ve rarely felt so relaxed, completely immersed in the peaceful natural setting. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though understandably quite basic due to the remote location. We will definitely be back!

This is the best guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. It’s in a perfect location, just outside the city, set on top of a hill with stunning views. The house is new, very clean, and beautifully designed. Ravi is a wonderful host and prepares absolutely delicious breakfasts. I couldn’t be happier with my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy.

Good location at Kandy lake. Good design in the property. Clean and spacious room. Each and every meal was amazing and fabulous. The staff were very helpful, professional and did everything they can to bring us a nice and cozy stay. Special thanks to Dilan from front office, Susantha and Pradeep from the restaurant, Jayantha and Wickram for housekeeping. And great appreciation to the chef and his team for the breakfast, lunch, dinner. Really enjoyed every meal down there, it is really the best food we have ever had in Sri Lanka.
