Booked for two nights, extended for four. One of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka! Beautiful teracce, spotless clean and modern rooms. Also, the price is great. We stayed in similar rooms in South which were 4x more expensive. It’s just 10min away from the centre and believe me - Kandy is much better outside the centre :D You can order your food there or just uber it. The host Harshana is wonderful. He has travelled/worked abroad and we had a lot to talk about. He helped with the visa extension too, very grateful for that. P.S. Don’t go trough the mountains, follow directions in booking.

The service was exceptional, the staff amazing,especially Gayashan, not just him though but all of them,the manager as well. The facility was great, the view from the room was just breathtaking, and we could see kandy. The breakfast was the highlight of everything....it was finger licking good

Photos hardly do this place justice, unlike other places in Sri Lanka i feel it exceeds what you think it would be.Cloud resort was 100% our favorite accommodation and location on our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. It is the most beautiful location with breathtaking views, our room had a panoramic view of the valley, which we could see from our bed. Sunset and sundown, such a spoil. Our private butler brought meals to our room, we were treated like royalty. We only stayed 2 nights, we were on a tight schedule, but it is the kind of place you should stay a minimum of 5 nights. The mountain walks to whatch the sunset, the pinawala is super close , the old tea factory is amazing, and just finding peace for your soul. The rooms are incredible, every small detail was crafted and curated by the owners ( family), and is such a treat to discover all the attention to detail and thoughtful comforts. Our bed was a highlight, it was a swing suspended from the ceiling, we have never slept so well being gently rocked to dream land. Inthi was an an incredible host, gave us lots of privacy, but always there if we needed anything. He was super helpful with directions, excursions, and just general info and the history of Sri Lanka. I loved meeting him. Butttt all this said...... the food!!!!!! Oh my word is was blown away, up to this point of our travels the food never blew me away....... but I would definitely recommend having all your meals there. It was beautiful, fragrant, and delicious!!!!!!!!! One of our top stays we have ever been to by far. I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and transportation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and their attention to detail truly made my stay special. The food was another highlight – delicious, homemade, and served with a smile. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every meal was a delight.

Everything! Great view and great location. Not too far from city centre but far enough to enjoy quiet and peace. Punya and Ravi are amazing hosts! They ensured we had everything and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend them if you are staying in Kandy!

This is a carefully designed small cottage. Compact but very comfortable. Out door sitting areas, stoned carved seats and bath tubs, swings, tree house nets. Kids loved it. We loved the peaceful nature and the calm environment.

Oh wow, wjere do i even start! This gem of a villa is hidden through the tea fields of Hanthana, super close to Kandy. Sanjaya, the host, has done an amazing job in building this villa and does an even better job at being the nicest host ever. He welcomed us, gave us a lift with his own car a couole of times and even brought us breakfast twice and lunch once. 10/10 experience, would def come back!

Very peaceful and secluded place

This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!
