Beautiful teracce, spotless clean and modern rooms. Also, the price is great. We stayed in similar rooms in South which were 4x more expensive. It’s just 10min away from the centre and believe me - Kandy is much better outside the centre :D You can order your food there or just uber it. The host Harshana is wonderful. He has travelled/worked abroad and we had a lot to talk about. He helped with the visa extension too, very grateful for that. P.S. Don’t go trough the mountains, follow directions in booking.

Inthizar our host was so helpful with quick responses and perfect English. Even during extreme weather conditions we were very well looked after with personalised meals cooked for us. Travel organised and made to feel very safe.

This lodge offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. The host, Sarath, and his staff were exceptional. Breakfast was so good, I didn't eat lunch. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that's looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. I cannot recommend this place enough. The villa is dreamy, with breathtaking peaceful surroundings, clean and the owners cannot do enough to make sure you have the best say. Firstly we were collected as our Uber driver got lost, then the owners organised dinner both evenings, took us to the elephant sanctuary and arranged a drive to our next destination. It was a trip we will never forget

Kandy railway station is 17 km from the lodge, while Bogambara Stadium is 18 km away. Victoria Reservoir Kandy Seaplane Base Airport is 40 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Cozy atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, great service from staff, and pleasant surroundings in a wonderful location.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Solitary Cottage Dunhinna is located in Teldeniya, 25 km from Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and 38 km from Bogambara Stadium. This lodge provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. This is a place you should visit. So quiet, peaceful, you are lost in the mountains with a stunning view and just a minute away from a nice walk in the tea plantation. Even though you are a bit lost you have everything you need. Food is delicious. Highly recommend you to visit this place for an authentic experience. Also you might be guided by a very cute and incredible dog named Rocky who will take care of you. One of our best experience in Sri Lanka as regard to enjoy the nature and food.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. This is a very attractive building with large rooms and a great view of the surrounding hills and the southwestern side of Kandy. It’s in a hilly area with a rural feel to it and so local walks are pleasant if you want to take a break from the city.
