One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! The view is absolutely breathtaking and honestly you can’t put a price on seeing wild animals all day, everyday. The lodge oversees a watering hole from the dining area and some of the bedrooms. The watering hole is in close proximity and we saw over 25 wild animals. On top of that the staff are kind, welcoming, and made us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Darcos at reception, Stephen (park range, game drive), and Daniel (restaurant) - they made us feel like family. Our highlights were seeing a cheetah with its kill and a young leopard. We wouldn’t have seen the cheetah but when it was spotted Stephen found us and personally drove us there. We didn’t see a lion this time but it’s just a reason to come back! Thank you we will surely be back.

The Maneaters Camp is a special place to stay, because of the story behind it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsavo_Man-Eaters) additionally to the wonderful camp that it is. It is very clean, the staff is wonderfully friendly, the rooms are big, extremely clean, the sheets, pillows and the towels are clean and good quality (i am particular about that). very comfy beds and a nice balcony at the back, with comfy chairs and even sunbeds. The staff went out of their way to help and advise - extremely helpful! there is a pool area, clean pool and excellent place to stay outside in the evening. The camp is not very big, which is GREAT, so good in comparison to other big mass tourism camps. A breath of fresh air. I wholeheartedly recommend going there!

What can we say to praise Ashnil Aruba sufficiently! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, our tent was immaculately clean, cool and comfortable with excellent bathroom and storage, a comfortable bed and a view beyond all expectations. The full board option was far beyond what we had expected for the price, so many delicious options to choose from for each meal. The location and site in the heart of Tsavo East are indescribable, the views are wonderful and the pool is a lovely surprise addition - we even watched elephants, zebra and gazelle while we were in the pool! The staff at the lodge are such a delight, every single member of the team was so kind and friendly as well as being very professional. Their service and dedication really made us feel welcome and well looked after for the whole of our stay. Thank you so much for the perfect safari stay, we loved every minute.

Superb location with elephants and other animals at a watering hole only a few metres from our tent door. Very comfortable room. Stand out were the staff. I asked for a little birthday surprise for my partner at dinner and they went above and beyond. We'll treasure that memory!
