We checked out of Olkinyei Mara Camp this morning after two wonderful nights. We were welcomed so warmly by Joseph and the team, and even got an upgrade, which actually made me cry when I saw the room; it was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly attentive, shout out to Jeff, who was so kind. We booked the game drive through the hotel and had Dennis as our guide who was incredible and knew exactly the best spots to see the animals. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Safari camp with a swimming pool overlooking the river. Very close to the landing strip. Very convenient location. F&B: very good options on the menu. Changes daily ( a la carte) and when camp is full they set up a buffet. We tried both. Fully enjoyable. Game drives are included. Great value. Excellent experienced guides (Raphael was informative, patient, a careful driver and a great conversationist) The camp staff were super accommodating and very approachable. They brought a fridge to our tent when we informed them there wasn't one. Housekeeping is impeccable, room was spotless at all times. Nice gesture of hot water bottles in the bed at night. Drink requests delivered to the room early in the morning before game drive. A wonderful experience. Excellent overall

Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

The level of service was nothing short of exceptional, with every detail carefully tended to throughout our stay. Special thanks to Newton, whose attentive and friendly approach truly elevated our experience—his hospitality left a lasting impression! The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal perfectly prepared and presented. From hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners under the stars, the culinary experience rivaled the best we’ve had anywhere. The camp’s environment added a thrilling layer to our adventure. With baboons and hyenas occasionally strolling through the area, it felt like we were genuinely immersed in the wild—exciting, safe, and surreal all at once. The accommodation was both comfortable and authentic, blending rustic charm with all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury safari camp. In short, Drunken Elephant Mara delivered an unforgettable slice of wilderness wrapped in comfort and care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an adventurous yet refined escape.

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden. The staff at the camp are great and very responsive to any need of your including food drinks and medication when we needed it! The Manager Eziekel, Aliche at the head office were outstanding in helping us make multiple changes to our Itinerary! The food was top class Indian and continental cuisine, the tents were comfortable with a hot pressure shower in the mornings and evenings an invaluable luxury in the bush!

We spent two nights at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and our experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful Glass VIP Room, which offered stunning views and a very comfortable stay. They also arranged an excellent tour guide for our game drives – he was polite, knowledgeable, and caring, making our safari experience unforgettable. Every member of staff we met was warm and attentive, providing truly caring and professional service throughout our stay. We were delighted to find that all drinks were included and free, which added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge exceeded our expectations on every level. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!
