We called ahead to advise we would be late for check in, won't bore with details, and Sandra was fantastic. Despite our late timing we were greeted very warmly with hot towels and a welcome drink. Check in was very relaxed. We also received an upgrade which was a treat and the accommodation was beautiful. Food was excellent, staff all very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if we are back this eay.

Located conveniently a 5minute drive from the Ol Kiombo airstrip, from the moment you arrive Duncan, Elayne and the team are dedicated to creating a peaceful, wonderful experience for you. Ezekiel, our experienced driver and guide shared his knowledge of the animals and landscape over multiple morning and afternoon safaris. Metrine, Geoffrey, Pauline, Daniel and the fabulous chefs serve a variety of tasty meal options, and the room stewards are so kind and attentive waking you up with a morning tea/coffee pre safari, and providing hot water bottles in the evenings. amazing location right on the river, surrounded by lush green grounds and wildlife, lovely friendly team, we highly recommend Mara Intrepids Tented Camp to anyone wanting to explore the Mara.

We had an absolutely beautiful week at Kobe Mara, in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.

Convenient location, friendly staff and amazing dinners and breakfast.

We visited this place with my husband and six of our friends. It was our first experience in Kenya and I must say it was absolutely excellent. We got a little lost on the way to Masai Mara and the helpful owner navigated us online the whole time and also picked us up for the final few kilometers to our accommodation. The last two kilometres are on a really bumpy road but can be done by jeep and even by car. All the time everyone was nice, friendly and gave us their utmost attention. The accommodation was great - we always had hot water in the shower, everything was beautifully clean. And the food... We enjoyed everything the local chef cooked, there was a huge choice and no one left hungry. They looked after us like we were their own. On the penultimate day they had a surprise for us in the form of dancing masai and it was a wonderful experience. Plus, my friends and I enjoyed swimming in the pool in the evening, which was awesome, especially after each day we were on safari. By the way, the entrance to the park is just a few minutes away from our accommodation. I am reviewing from the perspective of a traveler who has visited over 80 countries, we are not looking for luxury and five stars hotel, I like nice and relaxed accommodation and people. First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

everything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..

We spent two nights at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and our experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful Glass VIP Room, which offered stunning views and a very comfortable stay. They also arranged an excellent tour guide for our game drives – he was polite, knowledgeable, and caring, making our safari experience unforgettable. Every member of staff we met was warm and attentive, providing truly caring and professional service throughout our stay. We were delighted to find that all drinks were included and free, which added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge exceeded our expectations on every level. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

The facilities available in such an isolated place were amazing! The staff were friendly, happy and very attentive. The rooms and beds were most comfortable. The animals to be seen on safari, begin practically on your doorstep. Wonderful views too!

Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!
