Everything was amazing! The staff was really good. To name a few like Geff, Bastian, Ben, and many more. The food was excellent and super tasty! The tent was also really good. The staff surprised us with complimentary honeymoon services and even did a Maasai dance for us! We don't have any words about how grateful we were and how much we were taken care of. Never had such an amazing hotel experience anywhere in the world.

Facing the Talek River, Mara offers elegantly furnished tents on raised platforms, and a terrace with a bar for spotting animals. All rates include 3 game drives a day, and return airstrip transfers.

Finding the right accommodation in Masai Mara was a challenge, but after a thorough comparison of game drives, amenities, and services, Max Mara emerged as the best choice in terms of quality and price. I have never regretted opting for this hotel. Every member of the team, like Duncan, provided exceptional service, although I regret not remembering all their names. Situated just three minutes from Ol Kiombo airstrip, the hotel ensured seamless transportation, with our driver Samson attending to us from arrival to departure—an invaluable consistency throughout our stay. The culinary experience was outstanding, offering a diverse array of delicious meals. The tents were immaculate, complete with amenities and a constant water supply. Additionally, the morning gesture of serving tea, coffee, and biscuits on the terrace before breakfast was a delightful touch. The expansive resort boasts well-maintained gardens, often visited by friendly monkeys. However, what truly stood out were the exhilarating game drives. With Samson, an experienced driver of 18 years, at the helm, the journey was not only safe but also educational and enjoyable. His extensive knowledge of wildlife surpassed that of any textbook, and his ability to spot animals was uncanny. Despite my initial apprehension, Samson made me feel secure in his jeep, imparting valuable lessons about nature along the way. I am immensely grateful for this incredible adventure and for Samson's guidance throughout. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and to feel safe in your resort.

I can’t overstate how incredible this place is. The majestic view truly immerses you in the essence of African wildlife and safari—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews for this gem. Perhaps previous guests forgot to leave one, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts, especially since my partner, a huge believer in ratings, had doubts about coming here. While reviews might not be as prevalent in Africa, let me assure you: this place is undoubtedly underrated. The beauty of the location is breathtaking, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and caring. We arrived late as this was a last-minute trip to Africa, connecting from a flight in Singapore. Unprepared and without dinner, we were amazed by the staff’s kindness—they cooked for us past 10 pm so we wouldn’t go to bed hungry. That level of service is rare and deeply appreciated. If you’re staying in one of the tents and feel uneasy walking to the main house, the staff are always ready to protect and escort you. Their attentiveness and concern for guests’ comfort are unmatched. Overall, we had an amazing time and would love to return with the rest of our family. The manager, the owner, and all the staff were superb. I have nothing negative to say—this place exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!

We visited this place with my husband and six of our friends. It was our first experience in Kenya and I must say it was absolutely excellent. We got a little lost on the way to Masai Mara and the helpful owner navigated us online the whole time and also picked us up for the final few kilometers to our accommodation. The last two kilometres are on a really bumpy road but can be done by jeep and even by car. All the time everyone was nice, friendly and gave us their utmost attention. The accommodation was great - we always had hot water in the shower, everything was beautifully clean. And the food... We enjoyed everything the local chef cooked, there was a huge choice and no one left hungry. They looked after us like we were their own. On the penultimate day they had a surprise for us in the form of dancing masai and it was a wonderful experience. Plus, my friends and I enjoyed swimming in the pool in the evening, which was awesome, especially after each day we were on safari. By the way, the entrance to the park is just a few minutes away from our accommodation. I am reviewing from the perspective of a traveler who has visited over 80 countries, we are not looking for luxury and five stars hotel, I like nice and relaxed accommodation and people. Thank you for all this 🙏

My stay at Sarita Mara was absolutely fantastic! The beautifully maintained grounds and top-notch facilities created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Ashnil Mara Camp is situated in the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. It features a swimming pool and a souvenir shop.

everything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..

We spent two nights at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and our experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful Glass VIP Room, which offered stunning views and a very comfortable stay. They also arranged an excellent tour guide for our game drives – he was polite, knowledgeable, and caring, making our safari experience unforgettable. Every member of staff we met was warm and attentive, providing truly caring and professional service throughout our stay. We were delighted to find that all drinks were included and free, which added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge exceeded our expectations on every level. Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!
