Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. Amazing location, hospitality, food, game drives, & arrangements. We had our best time on vacation. Will definately be back once more. Thank you Mara Intrepids for making our time so special. Loved every moment of our stay.

There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Only the few people staying at the 2 properties can safari on the conservancy. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

A children's playground can be found at the lodge, along with a shared lounge. Amazing staff, made us feel welcome from the first moment on. Great communication up front. They organized cultural activities at the property, also we had a movie night at the communal area. The staff and the management does everything to make your stay great. Every aspect of the stay felt very personalized. The cooking skills of the chef are amazing, the vegetarian food was delicious, though it’s worth doing the all inclusive option, since it’s cheaper than paying per meal. Would come back and recommend drunken elephant to anyone visiting Masai Mara.

Accommodation ranges with a variety of tents. There is a main restaurant, bar and many bush dining options. The free form swimming pool has its own pool bar and the property has their own fleet of safari vehicles and guides. First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden.

Each tent features a patio with a view of the Mara River. It comes with a seating area and the private bathroom includes a shower. I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.

Ashnil Mara Camp is situated in the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. It features a swimming pool and a souvenir shop.

Activities available at the camp include guided nature walks, balloon safaris, game drives and in-house cultural activities. Love this camp. Right in the heart of Mara reserve. View of river is lovely. Not all rooms have view but lodge view is top. Hippos and crocodiles in river. Great sounds at night. Lovely location for exploring Mara. Staff was amazing. Great food and so nice. Hope I return one day

Jambo Mara Safari Lodge is situated in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site.

Jambo Mara Safari Lodge also includes a barbecue. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, followed by a drink at the bar. Special diet menus and packed lunches are available on request. The property also features 24 hour hot water supply and solar electricity. It was good and there was everything we need to have a good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The place and the service was fantastic.
