Safari, the staff, is the best!

The place was really clean and decoration of the house is really nice. The rooms are very big and atmosphere was good. Safari was the hosting personnel and he was really helpful and welcoming. He took us from the airport without any issues.

Beautiful boutique hotel with large spacious rooms done up in a gorgeous Swahili style and a massive common area, right in the heart of Lamu Old Town's narrow roads. Safari, Johnson and Abu are really great. Safari in particular went out of his way to help us make our stay amazing, such as finding us a dhow captain to organise a private dhow trip. I'd 100% recommend Andavelo House for your Lamu stay.

This house is amazing, love the traditional decor and feel. The room was really big and spacious, fitted with fans to cool the room and Safari was really helpful with everything. I would 100% come back to stay here. The food was also really amazing thank you!

From the beginning, Mr Safari and the team were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We loved how helpful Safari was from meeting us off the boat to personally escorting us to the airport. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The dinner was excellent - we would highly recommend ordering the fresh crab!

The place is amazing, amazing architecture and the decor is nice too. The staff is very nice, Safari was very nice and made sure I was feeling comfortable, also Johnson was very kind!

It was a lovely old building, well decorated to a high standard and with lots of character. It was within easy reach of the harbour (and boats) to explore Lamu. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable - we requested champagne on arrival for our Honeymooning guests, and a birthday cake later on - and these were no problem for Safari and the team.
