Otherwise very convenient location and picturesque place. The room had all the amenities I would need to just bunk in and avoid eating out if I wanted to. Supermarket was a short drive away. The Unesco World Heritage area was just a short walk away. Lawson as well as a few restaurants were also a short walk away. Highly recomended to base out off in Nikko for a hiking trip...

The driveway to the upper houses is steep and includes a 180-degree turn. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was contactless and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which are perfect for longer stays. All in all, it’s a very nice accommodation surrounded by nature that invites you to stay longer.

It is 10 minutes from Tobu Nikko Station on the free shuttle (available 15:00-17:00). The sweet lady in charge is very nice and helpful. She looked for me for the bus schedules a d hike routes. Also she prepared me nice meals and took care to be confy with everything. Roam is spacious and wifi works for work. The space has this oldie, hunting atmosphere, but feels very cozy and nice. The location is perfect if you love to be in nature
