The desserts made with local fruits were delicious and very appreciated after a day of hiking. Loved the private deck and bath. We would definitely stay here again if we come back for a visit!

Yakusugi Land is 17 km from the lodge, while Shiratani Unsuikyo is 28 km away. Yakushima Airport is 7 km from the property. Located near the bus stop 62 if you don't have a car. Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems. You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant. It was super clean and super comfortable.
