Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. Nice and clean. Akira san the owner himself greeted me upon my arrival. He is very polite and friendly. Lodge staff tour me around the facility with a smile on her face. I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

Excellent location across from ski shuttles. Quick walk to center of town , lovely breakfast and rooms were super clean . Most importantly, Chan was an amazing host!! He helped us in so many ways during our stay, even getting us to our snow monkey tour bus when we were running late . Wonderful stay!!

We felt relieved when he extended his time and effort to pick up us from Nakazato yuzawa sta. instead of Echigo yuzawa sta. Overall, we were delighted and our expectation went beyond satisfaction. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.
