It is a little off road, which for us is great as it meant a quieter space. Ram and his family were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are clean and comfy, the garden and the hang out space are peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the morning yoga too. This is a great place if you like nature, and quiet mornings to meditate and watch the sunlight slowly fill the valley.

I travelled from London specially to stay in this place, because have read about Cafe Buransh on its site about the idea of creating this place at Sari village and the Owner has considered many ways of sustainable environment friendly aspects to build this homestay. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The home-cooked meals were a highlight of the trip – delicious, fresh, and made with love. I also appreciated the little touches, like the outdoor seating area to enjoy morning tea while watching the sunrise, and the helpful tips from the hosts about nearby trails and attractions. This place is a gem for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. My stay was peaceful retreat away from the noise. I was impressed with the room maintenance as its mentioned on the site, it keeps you warm with cosy feel inside the room , great in terms of the cleanliness and welcoming staff. I had visited this place in 2018 while i was on Chandrashila trek, since then waited for this day to come again and stay at this place. Vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options can also be requested. The Estate is located at a pristine location. The views from the property was simply extraordinary. The snow-clad Himalayas can be seen from the Estate. The stone-style aesthetic architecture gives a unique experience. We stayed for one night here and to be honest, the hospitality from Amit and his team was outstanding. Their signature Kumaoni cuisine is a must try. Food was great. Rooms and bathrooms were neatly maintained. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. Amit took us for a hike, reaching the Ghanti temple, a view-point where the Himalayan peaks looks even clearer and beautiful. We had a picnic lunch on the open patio, overlooking the mountain range. There are no words to describe the experience. It was amazing! Overall, Itmenaan Estate is a highly recommended stay IMO. We’d definitely visit again for at least 3 nights stay at Itmenaan Estate.
