So fun to stay in older home now lodging. Good beds, nice amenities.

Castle Lodge Kilkenny is located very close to Kilkenny Castle and other sights in the city center. The room was nicely decorated, and we enjoyed the picnic basket breakfast that was delivered to our room.

Our welcome was friendly and helpful. The breakfast tray with delicious yogurt, fruits, cheese and pastries was generous. Letting us leave our car while we toured was appreciated. We'd highly recommend Castle Lodge for parking and an easy pleasant walk thru the park to the city center. Thank you so much

Wow, this lodge met and exceeded all our family expectations. The host Mel and her family have designed it beautifully, so much attention to detail not only in design but for guests comfort too. Everything you might need from a coffee machine, milk frother (might now need to invest in one too), washing machine and dyer to Netflix!!! Home from home... & better. Main bed very comfy, very quiet, especially at night and plenty of storage to hang clothes and tidy away your suitcases if staying for longer.

Stayed 3 nights at the manor house, overlooking the river. Beautiful location. If you like golf stay at Hunters Lodge instead. Great room, very spacious and excellent bed. No complaints. Breakfast was excellent.

So much to do and see within hotel grounds , we enjoyed an afternoon of Archery and survived ….instructor did talk a little too much and I found it hard to concentrate . Manor House stunning interior , magnificent Whiskey selection and local gin worth a taste . Food in Hunters Lodge Hotel to a high standard and cost as expected with view of Golf Course . Ross sang and entertained us in residents bar Friday night and made each guest feel welcome and part of the fun .

Host extremly nice. Very nice room. Bed confortable. Super super clean place. Very nice breakfast. Everything was great ! 😊 I highly recomand to stay at Newlands Lodge

The castle lodge was lovely, and it's just close distance to the city centre.The kilkenny castle and gardens were also near. The owner was very polite and courteous.
