This is an exceptional small resort overlooking rice fields with a stunning view of an active volcano. It’s a must-visit for a peaceful and unforgettable experience. We rented an entire bungalow with a beautiful terrace and had an amazing time. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect for couples, backpackers and families. A very good breakfast is provided, and the on-site restaurant offers delicious food, desserts, juices, and cocktails until 10 PM. The quality is great, and the prices are very affordable. Free drinking water. They also offer fun and cheap tours like jungle hiking and tubing. We also loved geckos around the bungalow.

This property was perfect place to stay for my time spent in Tetebatu. it was rice within the rice fields, a short walk from the waterfalls, and monkey forest. it was very much surrounded by greens and nature and I loved sitting out the front speaking with the owner, Anya, who was the nicest guy Iv ever met! so chatty and spent so much time talking to me about plants and the village he lives in. his wife made us food whenever we needed and always brought us everything and more! Anya took us on a tour round the waterfalls, rice fields and monkey forest and to some local shops which was really nice to see and do! the bungalow we stayed in was really lovely, very cosy, everything we needed, comfy bed and hot shower! we loved our stay and I’ll 100% be back! thanks again Anya and family for our stay

Ila Homestay is a great place to visit when you come to Senaru. The owner is an amazing guy who helps out with everything and the food is delicious. I would also greatly recommend booking the Rinjani trecking with Ila Homestay. We had Phann as a guide and he gave us the best experience we could hope for, together with the two porters. The food was plentiful and they gave us many great stories about the volcano and its history.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The large windows with the seating area made the room truly special. The service was really excellent and accommodating. I would come back anytime! I felt safe as a solo female traveler, which is the most important thing for me!

The building is a marvellous traditional wooden building. The staff are wonderful. Beds huge and super comfortable. They have a gymnasium! They have lovely garden and great rice paddy views. The food was traditional Indonesian food and was excellent. Air con was great. Rooms are huge. The place is a real hidden little gem.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at Coffee Homestay! The rooms are very clean and new. The bed was great, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. No AC needed, since Tetebatu is higher, so it is cooler. Hari (the owner) and Angi speak perfectly English, and even a bit of Spanish and Dutch! Everyone here is very welcoming, and all the 3 nights we stayed here, we played some cardgames in the evening with multiple members of the family. We did the walking tour with Eman and Jay, which was great! The surroundings are very beautiful. Also one night there was a open English course at Hari’s home, which is there twice a week to support the local community. You can help out if you want to, which we really liked. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we were sad we had to leave so soon already, but next time when we are in Indonesia we will definitely be back. Hati hati!
