Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

One of their security staff offered to help take wonderful pictures for me and my family. Water was clear with lots of marine life. Was lucky to see a huge turtle swim by on our last day. Do prepare 100rm per adult and 50rm (kids) for a round-trip boat transfer at semporna.

Howard is definitely the best host on the island! He takes you to and from the beach and goes out of his way to make your stay wonderful. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we wish it was 20! We slept in a simple hut with only a mattress and a fan, with showers and toilets very close by. Don't expect a lot of luxury here, but that's all part of the experience. The only other feedback I'd like to give is that the price is quite high if you're looking purely at the state of your bedroom, especially for a backpacker budget. But still, we would pay it over and over again because the service, the location and the experience make it so worth it! Don't skip this place when visiting Borneo, it's the most magical part of the island!
