It’s spacious and at the same time designed in a way that offers privacy to all guests. If you are looking for a quiet place with unique vibe, away from touristic crowds, where you can truly rest and recharge - look no further! Mourtzanakis Residence is a true retreat for tired souls. I know it may sound poetic but this how I felt. It’s a home away from home. I felt very well taken care of! Marcos, the owner of the place, is an amazing host, helpful, tactful and very cordial. Thank you, Marcos! Now, a little bit of practical impressions: * very clean, spacious apartments, well equipped for a longer stay * a generous breakfast with a selection of local food (feta, Greek yoghurt, jam and bread, orange juice etc.) * beautiful garden; the apartments are naturally infused in the landscape. I guess this creates this relaxing vibe: you’re always surrounded by nature. It was a pleasure waking up each morning hearing cicadas, birds chirping, or sheep bells or watching sunsets from the swing or just sitting outside with a book :) * local taverna is just 10min away on foot (located in Achlada village) - really good food! Important: * there’s no grocery shop in the village. So if you come for a longer period of time, and would like to cook for yourself, or simply to explore other places around and the seaside - having a car is a must. Overall, it’s a delightful stay! I’ll be back for sure.

Mandraki Port is 8.1 km from the lodge, while Deer Statues is 8.3 km from the property. Rhodes International Airport is 8 km away. The house was very clean and fully equipped. Natalia was very responsive and very kind and friendly. Would definitely go back next time I visit Rhodes

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. Beautiful villa with a breathtaking view and so private, yet so close to everything!! Just like the photo's. Pool is very nice-sized and beautiful details all over. Very kind management - they let us check in early for no extra price and nothing was a big deal for them. Thank you! Highly recommend!!

The lodge provides guests with a terrace, sea views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. An oven and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. The host was very nice and very helpful. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean, accommodation to be desired. The village where the apartment is located is a real authentic Greek place. We are really happy that we chose this apartment. It was more than nice for us.

The lodge is equipped with 1 bedroom, a kitchenette with a fridge and an oven, and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are provided in the lodge.

The lodge offers a barbecue. Staying at Liza’s place was truly unforgettable. The beds were so comfortable, and every morning we enjoyed the peace of the beautiful garden with its breathtaking view of the mountains. What really made our stay special were the wonderful owners — so welcoming and attentive. We were greeted with fresh fruits and homemade olive oil, and Maria even treated us to her delicious homemade pastries, which felt like a gift from the heart. The location is perfect for exploring the many beaches nearby, as well as Rethymno and Chania. We felt at home here from the very first moment, and we would love to return again. We can’t recommend this place enough!

You feel like staying in your own little villa and I loved the caldera view from the jacuzzi. For me it was a true hidden gem! Everything was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The exceptional host provided instructions on my arrival about using the fan to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He was very caring, asking how I was and if I needed anything. He reacted immediately when I needed his help early in the morning, and was there within a few minutes. Great location, the city center is only a 15-minute walk, and a 4-minute walk is the Kafeneio Reisis, where the tasty, flavorful, delectable, heavenly food is.

From the moment of arriving, and throughout our stay, we were so warmly welcomed by Angelika, Anastasia and her mum that it felt like we were visiting much-loved friends or family. We loved everything about this holiday: the exceptional service, friendliness and kindness of the hardworking owners, the delicious fresh-cooked food every day (both breakfast and dinner), the peaceful and serene location with immaculately kept gardens, large clean and welcoming apartment with lovely views from the terrace, superb salt-water pool. There is free parking on site, and the accommodation is less than 1 hour drive from Chania airport. We were sad to leave, and recommend this place highly for both the restaurant and the accommodation. It is the epitome of warm Cretan hospitality, away from the tourist crowds.
