United KingdomRecently have had the pleasure of staying at Dukes end retreat. From the off the communications with the host were exceptional. We went there for there 1 year anniversary of opening which was ours also. When we let them know this they went out and made a special effort to make the night extra special. The accommodation was cute the heating was on when we got there. The hottub is always hot. There was a fire set up ready to go and some marshmallows ready for toasting. We will definitely be returning as it is a really nice place for a quiet get away. It is in an idealic location with nice country walks and a short drive away you can get anything you need from the town. Thankyou for being such good hosts.

CanadaNorma was great! Neighborhood was nice. Went for a walk and felt safe — though I was advised to walk before 9 pm.
Kitchen is great. Backyard is splendid.

The owner and the staff at this Lodge were amazing always asking if everything was okay if we needed something. They arranged for a cab when we needed one no problem at all. Beds were comfy room was large. We booked 5 weeks before we travelled so unfortunately no main floor room was available there is no lift so if mobility is a problem might not be for you. Ask them tho if they have it they will do what they can for you.
