Myself and my boyfriend came to the Pentland Shepherd Huts to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best time!
The hut was extremely clean and comfortable, absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend. It is an amazing location as it didn't take us too long to get into Edinburgh but we also weren't too far from lovely little towns such as Peebles.
Lyn was great with communicating and we even got to meet their pygmy goats and shetland ponies, definitely a highlight of the trip!
The hot tub was also heated for our arrival which was a great way to settle into our weekend.
Would definitely recommend to other couples or friends who want a cosy weekend away!

The location was amazing . We woke up every morning looking out on fields and the beautiful Highland cows . Jazelle is a wonderful , kind and very responsive host . You could send her any time she would answer very quickly and find a way to help . When we arrived there were some lovely little gifts . She's a very thoughtful host . Our lodge was very clean and we had everything we needed . We were very close to shops so very easy if you needed to do some shopping . We were 30 mins from Edinburgh . Which was ideal but gave us the opportunity to come back in silence and peace after the buzzying Edinburgh 😊. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely come again .

How quiet the location was, the cleanliness and how well detailed and thought out the book for the guests was.
Bed was very comfy and didnt struggle for sleep, and the space in the cabin was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful property well appointed comfortable, gorgeous gardens. Owner very responsive and went above and beyond our expectations by assisting us with sending luggage back to Australia for us in our absence.

Great location with lots of amenities around within a short distance.
Lodge itself far exceeded our expectations as we booked relatively last minute. There was plenty of space and style wise was clean and cosy.
Everything was provided as it was self catering for cooking and cleaning.
Nice entryway and decking with bbq and chairs.

Pretty much everything.
Enough space for two people,
any kitchen equipment you could possibly need. No problems with hot/warm water in the shower, the room temperature was perfect.
Large, comfortable bed, TV with own netflix account for every lodge.
The pictures don't lie, you wake up, open the curtain and can see the highland cattles right in front of you.
