Hacienda Guamag is set in a calm and beautiful place that has no road access and can be reached by tarabita. by crossing the gorge with a beautiful view over the waterfall you leave hassle behind and enter beautiful place run by a super host Marcelo and his family. We traveled with two kids and they loved everything about the place - tarabita ride, trout pond to fish own dinner, swing under the tree. The room was also very nice with two big comfortable beds. excellent stay! highly recommended.

A lovely hotel located just outside of the centre of Baños. What it may lack in shine it more than makes up with their service. So kind and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The courtyard area is beautiful and extensive and though the rooms are a bit dated, this adds to the charm of the place. Tailored the breakfast to requests and very happy to store luggage following check out. Plus very patient with my terrible Spanish - a good opportunity to practice! And they have the cutest puppy Torr!
