Fabulous views of the cloud forest from the deck and windows of this beautiful bungalow. Great sunrises. Each cabin is slightly different. Place is close to town for meals but has the basic supplies you need for a little self catering when you can’t pull yourself away from the view. Stayed in unit 5 which was incredible.

We love them all the same.. and also his wife Elena. If you don't stay here you're missing out on life! We didn't want to leave this place. Oh by the way the food was also lovely. He knows what is spicy what you ask him what is spicy! Don't go without the argentina pizza and cas juice! One of our best accommodation out of 100s of countries! Pura Vida!

Wonderful apartment, very spacious and clean! Huge bathroom with rain shower, nice outdoor sitting area with views of the pacific ocean. Best part is the infinity pool, from there you have such a nice view of the ocean, perfect if you want to relax a bit in between adventures!

Apartment was luxurious, with a wonderful shared swimming pool to cool off in after the beach. Highlight was using the BBQ facilities and monkeys swinging past in the trees above our heads!

This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.
