The location was very beautiful. The common area and the pool were amazing. We went there for 4 days during our honeymoon. I highly recommend this location. And oh my god, the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have ever had at the Oasis Fusion Resturant.

My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

Our host, he was great and friendly and showed us around the garden and helped us spot a couple snakes, sloth and other creatures. The garden was stunning. He also cooked us up a yummy breakfast. For me the area was great with a car, it's an hour walk from the town along the beach. A bit out the way without a car.

It was beautifully designed in a superb setting surrounded by jungle. It was so peaceful. The “ lounge area” - an open sided area at the centre of the cabins next to the pool was a good place to relax in the late afternoons when drinks and snacks are available. The breakfasts were very good even though the choice was not as extensive as some places. The staff were very friendly and helpful ( especially Donovan). Bryan the manager was exceptionally helpful and informative and keeps the place ticking along beautifully. The position just over 1 km back from the beach ensures a quiet environment. Although a car makes it easier, the local taxis and Uber are very cheap and readily available.

The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

The hosts are super welcoming, taking their time to show you around and help spot the animals (sloths, toucans, lizards etc). The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!

Absolutely amazing place very close to the beautiful and deserted Playa Grande. Gia and Mia are the best hosts imaginable. Lovely room with nice touches eg. mini bar with drinks and snacks. Delicious breakfast with lots of varieties. Nice dinner place nearby.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Phantastic location and really big house, which was very much appreciated. Also great host, who was always available in case of questions or recommendations.

Finca Chica offers accommodation in Puerto Viejo. Cahuita is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Simply stunning cabin, right in the jungle but with parking right next to it and shops / the beach so close. An idyllic place to stay - magical!
