Everything is very clean and in good condition. The service everywhere is amazing. The food at restaurant was also very tasty with big portions and cocktails at bar were perfect.

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. Great place to spend couple nights and enjoy the experience of staying inside a forest with a view of ocean from the top. Be in good physical shape as you'll be walking on stone paved slight uphill road for about 25 mins. You'll be crossing 4 shallow puddles. I recommend good trail shoes. Flip flops is a big no no. I highly recommend Polo's cacao tour on his property. Get set for a different experience from the rest and one that you'll remember for many years going forward.

The lodge offers a hot tub. Stayed here for 3 nights and it was superb! The location and the views are stunning and the ‘nest’ was very bright and cosy with a great big glass window to enjoy the view. We had all food made for us and it was truly delicious made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Daniel was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, including last minute requests. You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

He just started hosting people and don't expect it to be a 5 star hotel, but if you are looking for a refugium with a lovely person who shares it's place, you are right. There are all kind of birds around and the entrance to Tayrona is just across the street.
