At both places we were met with friendly people and super service! I recommend doing the activities they provide in the hostal and just enjoy being there!

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. Great place to spend couple nights and enjoy the experience of staying inside a forest with a view of ocean from the top. Be in good physical shape as you'll be walking on stone paved slight uphill road for about 25 mins. You'll be crossing 4 shallow puddles. I recommend good trail shoes. Flip flops is a big no no. I highly recommend Polo's cacao tour on his property. Get set for a different experience from the rest and one that you'll remember for many years going forward.

The lodge offers a hot tub. It was all very elegant and luxurious place and we enjoyed staying at Terramia Estate a lot. Exellent quality. Plus stunning views, lots of birds and very quiet and romantic. Hot water in bathroom. Comfortable big bed with very soft linen. Definitely worth the price.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. The property is an eco-friendly hostel that offers private rustic rooms with balcony and bathroom. Facilities were very clean and beautiful view. Staff was very helpful and the pool/games area was very nice.

The room is your own haven with screened walls on some walls for a bug-free immersion into the forest. Very light/clean/airy! The night insects whistle at night, and you wake to the birds in the morning! The grounds are stunning and immaculate! They have lovely cats & dogs happily enjoying the property with you! Especially Mateo!:: ... They have the best customer service, handling all your needs, and they speak English and Spanish which can be a big plus for travelers! They sent their dogs with me for the back roads hike to beautiful waterfalls! The dogs led the way (pic attached!). Then when I came back, I tracked mud all over my floor. Carmen instantly arrived with a mop and cleaned my floor! Then I had a perfectly clean room again! 👍 .... I fell in love with Trompito, and the staff here mentioned a nice apartment down the road, which ended up being perfect for me, and now I will be neighbors to this lovely accommodations that offers you a unique and complete experience of a lifetime!

You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

The kitchen area is just perfect to prepare some delicious dinner. The communal area with hammocks, couches and the pool are just perfect to relax after an adventure and the property is well maintained. Proximity to Tayrona National Park is just 10 walking minutes to the next entrance.
