The cottages are modern and well equipped with comfy beds and a stove (prepare to fire-up before bed time as in other places at Carretera Austral too). Pablo and his wife were super hospital with fantastic and healthy breakfast and gave very helpful recommendations for places to explore around Puerto Guadal (very worthwhile to visit Mina Esquinada, Cuevas de Puerto Guadal and the Maqui waterfall). I would also highly recommend to choose dinner at El Arrayan, it's a modern and delicious interpretation of Chilean food with a regional touch which Pablo artistically prepares. It was probably the best dinners and Pisco Sours we had in our whole stay in Chile. Thank you for the beautiful 3 days!

The food was not exceptional but well prepared. The Lodge itself is well designed in the farmhouse country-side kind of style, huge windows, nice furniture, and it feels like a private retreat rather than a hotel. The manager was exceptional- he was at 5 different places at the same time, finding time to greet all guests, offer meals and services and attention.
