The glamping tents were the perfect size, comfortable and so cozy! It was amazing to be able to stay in a such a secluded and beautiful area of kananaskis. The food was incredible and you never go hungry! Met some wonderful people as well, both staff and other guests. There’s no wifi in the tents which is great, and wifi in the lodge if you need it. The service was fantastic. Overall, I had the best stay. I would come back here time and time again.

I was a bit hesitate to choose Rocky Mountain Escape since my original goal was only to stay in Jasper. But after I did it, it's totally worthy with the long drive! The location is just next to rocky lake provincial park, it took us 1-2 hours from Jasper to the cabin and the road was off-road but we did it without 4x4. Julia was very nice to explain the situation and recommend us 4x4 actually. While we stayed there, we learnt how to cook with griddle and we took the trail to enjoy the nature. We also drove to Rocky lake provincial park to see the scenery and bump into over 15 Elks! Gary was very nice to show us how to use wood-burning stove, and it was really a cool experience for us! And also Gary recommended us few trails to see the nice view of the mother nature. This was the best cabin getaway experience I could ever have! Thank you Julia and Gary for such lovely cabin!

The lodge is amazing. It has two big beds in desperate bedrooms and two very comfortable bathrooms (one even has a bathtub). The lodge is very clean and there is more than enough space. We wanted to cook to save some costs, which was easily possible as the kitchen was equipped with all needed cooking utensils and more. It is very clean. For this cheap a price, a steal in my opinion :) Banff is about a 15 minute drive, Lake Louise about 45 minutes and Peyto Lake 1h15m. All very doable by car!
