The lodge recently changed owners, but has kept on much of the staff and is very recognizable to anyone having stayed there before. The location is extremely peaceful and serene, yet just a few minutes drive from the excellent Casterbridge lifestyle center, with all its charming shops and eateries. The staff is lovely and made us feel right at home. There is no playground, but the lush grounds offer plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Our kids really loved sleeping in a bunk bed in a family room as well. We did not have dinner on-site, but we very much enjoyed the yummy hot breakfast options. We will definitely be coming back.

This is just a little paradise nested on the way to Blyde River Canyon. The staff is super friendly. The property has many animals and birds. Design and decoration is outstanding with an eye for detail. Very lovely property!
